WIS LOG CARRAIGE- SPRINTER

The WIS Sprinter log carriage is a robust high performance technical unit designed and built for log breakdown applications.

Powerful and flexible yet simple and rigid with a highly dynamic electric drive system and frequency converter-controlled gear motor. The WIS Sprinter carriage is a combination of high positioning accuracy and high cutting speeds.

WIS Sprinter features

-Modular carriage frame, the distances between the head blocks and the log turners can be customized according to the customer requirements.

-Mounted on a massive steel frame, the rails are precision-ground for accurate guidance. This significantly reduces the customer’s cost of preparing the carriage foundation.

-High strength steel wheels with roller bearings

-Variable cutting axis wheel system electronically controlled by independent brushless motors.

-Remotely controlled intelligent dog pressure- clamping and unclamping by hydraulic cylinders. Dogs are easily replaceable.

-Automatic carriage positioning.

-Automatic central lubrication and automatic lubrication of the running rails.

-Attached electrical control cabinet.

-Slanted 17° carriage model is also available.

-Operators chair- ergonomic design with integrated control panel.

WIS Sprinter available accessories and features

-Operator cabin– ordered separately with Sprinter and other WIS products- very ergonomic design. Made from a steel frame covered by 120mm sandwich panels that are noise reducing. Upon customer request it’s also possible to install air recuperation and air conditioning systems. Tempered glass- for operator safety. WIS cabin is very fast and simple to install.
